Fridays HOP

Jennifer @ Crazy-for-books hosts this fun Hop! I hope you will go join in on the fun here

ABOUT THE HOP:

In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!

The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!

Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.

If you start following someone through the Hop, leave a comment on their blog to let them know! Stop back during the week to see other blogs that are added! And, most importantly, the idea is to HAVE FUN!!

DISCLAIMER:
The Hop isn't just for you to throw your link in there and not visit any other blogs. It's all about networking and finding new blogs that are of interest. So, in the spirit of the Hop, try to make some time to visit other blogs and don't post your link if you are not planning on visiting other blogs in the Hop that week. This is a weekly event, so if you don't have time this week, that's fine! We'll see you next week!

If you sign Linky, please share the love and POST ABOUT THE HOP ON YOUR BLOG! How else will anyone else find out about it and come join the party?

This week Jennifer has decided to help us all get to know each other a little better and will be providing something each week for us to share! This week we have been asked to share with you all why we started blogging??

I started this book blog because I wanted people who truly love reading to enjoy my book reviews! (not just enduring them LOL) So instead of sharing them on my Family Blog I decided to start this blog and am sooo very happy I have! I have found so many wonderful bloggers who enjoy reading and this infatuation we have with BOOKS :) I feel so privileged to share Christian authors and books with others out there! I never would have found such amazing authors if it wasn't for blogging!! Thank you Lord! and Thank you to my followers!

ABOUT THE BOOK

THE HOMECOMING WASN’T WHAT SHE EXPECTED…

Jobless, homeless, and broke, Camden Bristow decides to visit the grandmother she hasn’t seen in years. But when Camden arrives in Etherton, Ohio, she discovers that her grandmother has passed away, leaving her the 150-year-old mansion on Crescent Hill. The site of her happiest summers as a child, the run-down mansion is now her only refuge.

When Camden finds evidence that she may not be the mansion’s only occupant, memories of Grandma Rosalie’s bedtime stories about secret passageways and runaway slaves fuel her imagination. What really happened at Crescent Hill? Who can she turn to for answers in this town full of strangers? And what motivates the handsome local Alex Yates to offer his help? As she works to uncover the past and present mysteries harbored in her home, Camdem uncovers deep family secrets within the mansion’s walls that could change her life─and the entire town─forever.

Jenna's Review:

Camden is your average homeless person: jobless, homeless, and broke. She decides maybe she can get some refuge from her grandma that she hasn't seen in a very long time. But what she doesn't know is her grandmother passed away and left her the mansion on Crescent Hill. SWEET right? Your homeless, no job, money, but WAIT your grandmother left you a HUGE house. YES! But wait, there's a catch. Is she the only one in the house? Are the secrets from what really happened on Crescent Hill haunting her? Are her grandmothers old stories coming back to get her? I guess you'll just have to read to find out....

GREAT BOOK! A must pick up and never put down!

:) thanks for reading!
