Since this was a young adult novel I thought it would be best to allow my daughter the opportunity to read Solitary. I cannot even begin to tell you how MANY times she said "MOM! This is THE BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ!" or "OMG, this book is SOOOO AWESOME!" and then when she finished she told me "YOU HAVE TO READ THIS MOM!!!"
So without further adieu....Here is Jenna's review ~

Okay, Travis Thrasher. PLEASE, PLEASE continue writing these kinds of books. This was the best book I've read. It's a book of secrets, hopeless love, and mystery. Chris and his mom leave his home in New York away from his father who found faith and neither Chris nor his mother could handle it. They move to small town named Solitary. Chris meets the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. But also the most terrible. Secrets of this girls past, present, the town, and his uncle's mysterious disappearance all make this book, un-put-downable. (And yes, I just made that word up). PLEASE WRITE MORE YOUNG ADULT BOOKS MR.THRASHER. Everyone go out and get this book. It's an amazing book, and you can ask my family, I was crushed when I turned the last page. Again, a great read. I cannot wait to the 2nd book in this series!!
